How to Play BarHopz
Welcome to the ultimate social music trivia experience! BarHopz is designed to be intuitive, but here is a
quick guide to help you get the most out of your game night.
For Players

Join the Room
Scan the QR code on your table or visit BarHopz.com and enter the 6-digit room code displayed on the
main TV. Pick a cool nickname so everyone knows who’s winning.

Watch & Listen
A music video snippet will play on the main screen. Pay close attention! The lyrics will appear on your
phone with a missing word or phrase.

Submit Fast
Type in the missing lyric as fast as you can. The quicker you answer correctly, the more points you
earn. Points decay over time during each round, so speed is key!

Climb the Leaderboard
After each round, check the live leaderboard to see where you stand. Challenge your friends and aim for
the top spot to claim your bragging rights.
For Hosts & Venues
Hosting a game is just as easy as playing. You can turn any screen into a game show in seconds.
Step 1: Start your TV Mode
Visit BarHopz.com on a device connected to your big screen (Laptop, Smart TV browser, or via Chromecast).
Select "Host / TV Mode" to generate your unique room code.
Step 2: Connect the Vibe
Ensure your sound system is connected to the host device. BarHopz relies on the music to keep the energy
high, so make sure those speakers are ready!
Step 3: Launch & Enjoy
Once players have joined, hit "Start Game." The system is fully automated—it will handle the music videos,
timer, and leaderboard transitions while you focus on serving your guests.
